The following are community organizations that provide information about local issues, may need volunteers or may provide provide opportunities for growth and development.

ACT is a reproductive justice organization building power through leadership development, community organizing, advocacy, and policy change in our communities.

Our MISSION is to provide spaces within our communities for the LGBT+ population to 
Learn, Grow, Belong, Transform, Question + Support.
 
Our VISION is to cultivate new resources through advocacy, partnerships and fundraising
to unite and advance the LGBT+ community in Tulare & Kings Counties.

PFLAG Tulare and Kings Counties is a volunteer group of parents, family and friends of people who are gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT). We welcome members of the GLBT community to our meetings and membership. We meet on the third Sunday of each month.

For 40 years, we have stood by our unwavering belief that food is a basic human right. We distribute millions of healthy meals every year, and are on the forefront of new approaches to ending hunger and poverty through nutrition education and food system change.

The Community Water Center (CWC) believes all communities should have access to clean, safe, and affordable water. That’s why we work as a catalyst for community-driven water solutions through organizing, education, and advocacy in California. We build strategic grassroots capacity to address water challenges in small, rural, low-income communities and communities of color.
